What should I do if my pet dies at home?

Take a moment before doing anything. You do not need to hurry. When ready, place your dog or cat on their side on a towel or blanket, gently close their eyes and position their legs naturally in a curled posture. Can I scatter my pet’s ashes?

Yes. We normally seal the urn, but you can ask for an unsealed urn or have the ashes returned in a scatter tube if you plan to scatter them. The Private Farewell package includes a scatter tube instead of an urn.
