What should I do if my pet dies at home?

Can I scatter my pet’s ashes?

Yes. We normally seal your pet’s urn, but you can request an unsealed urn or a scatter tube if you plan to scatter the ashes. The Private Farewell package provides a scatter tube instead of an urn.

Many Lakemba families remember their pet with a favourite walk near Allegra Reserve, then choose a garden or another favourite place for scattering. Scattering on your own property is generally fine. Before using parks, beaches or other public land, check with the local council or landholder.

Are your cremation services private?
